Gems (2wks, since last week's was unreal): reading stories to my nephew, studying science with my favorite Girlscouts, cheesecake-tasty quark and a chocolate sheet cake decorated like a giant wedge of Swiss, dancing, dinner and walks with friends, playing a board game that knocks the dust off my life, strolls on the beach, lovely sunsets, Conservatory of Flowers. Trust, Truth, Honesty, Bravery, Love.

Gems: reminded of the great life I've had: Separated from my fraternal twin,I was found by my adoptive parents on the San Mateo Bridge, then somehow trained as a ninja in 16thBCE Japan. I climbed Mt. Everest, got busted for identify theft, measured men for kilts, kept calm during survival rafting, raided a spacepirate ship and waited in the Vogon DMV. Ah, the life. But my calves hurt.

Gems!: Lots of great dancing this week- swing, Bohemian National Polka, the previously undiscovered SambaRedowa- which ALWAYS leaves me grinning, listening to a friend's audio dramas at a party, discovering parallels with a new friend, dinner with my current teaching colleagues, a drive along Ocean Beach at sunset, giggling at myself when clearly was spending a day in a physical comedy :) Life is Good :)
